Mobile Chapels
Available for children up to 6th grade
These programs are designed to present the Gospel to children and adults who in many cases would not walk into a church to receive the message of God's love for them. The messages and activities in these programs are tailored to be fun and age-appropriate to the audience attending.
We use bus #1 (The Gloryland Express) and bus # 6 (The Monster Cool Bus) for most of our mobile chapel programs. In some rare cases, we have used some of our route buses to meet the needs of special events chapels. Bus #1 has an indoor chapel with a puppet stage, TV, DVD player, CD player, and helium for balloons. It also has an outside stage which slides out on the curb side of the bus. The outside puppet stage can also use the TV, DVD, & CD during programs. Bus #6 is used to boost attendance and when a larger indoor chapel is needed because of the weather.
The mobile chapel programs include various combinations of Gospel preaching, Gospel DVD's, drug prevention, singing, special effects, games, and just good old fun in Jesus' name.
These programs are presented for school classes, after-school programs, neighborhood outreaches, apartment - multifamily housing outreaches, Sunday School bus route booster, special car show & racing events, and AWANA programs. We have also performed special programs for various civic, community, and law enforcement agencies.
From 1988-1991, Wyatt was on the street as a full-time evangelist with #1, the Gloryland Express. During 1990, 8,801 people attended street services with 1,247 accepting Christ. By late 1991, he went back to commercial work as a bus mechanic, and sometimes driver. The street services were great, but the bills weren't getting paid.
Since 1992, Wyatt has had to work in the mobile chapels around responsibilities with local churches or commercial work to pay the bills.
