Rider  Transportation  Policies

In order to provide for the safety and security of all riders, a "Bus Card" must be on file for all passengers.

Minor's cards must be signed by a parent or legal guardian, providing the following:  "I hereby give permission for the above mentioned person to ride the bus and attend Gloryland Chapel Station in Midlothian, Texas.  To protect my child & others, I promise to keep my child home if he or she has an infectious disease that could be transmitted in any manner to anyone.  I also authorize any medical treatment needed and will inform bus workers of any condition necessary for the safety of my children as well as other children."

The following policies are also in place for minors:

• For safety & respect, all passengers must follow all requests of bus driver, bus captain, & children's workers.

• If a passenger becomes uncontrollable, or a threat to themselves or others, they will placed in a chair to wait for the parent/guardian to arrive to take them home.  If a violent situation continues and the parent/guardian is not available, authorities will be called to assist in restoring a safe location.

• Please do not leave children unattended waiting for the bus.

• Bus stops can only wait 2 minutes;  please be ready.  LISTEN for the horn.

• We will not knowingly leave children at returning bus stop unattended, children will be brought back to chapel for you to pick up.

• Pink slips will be used to inform you of discipline problems which need your attention, or praise reports for your child.

• Parents will be asked to be responsible for vandalism to the chapel property or transportation equipment.

• Any change in bus stop must be in writing, signed & dated by the parent/guardian.

• Adult passengers are to have NO physical contact with children at any time, except their own family.

• Language & discussion on the bus should honor God.

• No children under the age of 4, unless accompanied by their parent/guardian.  No nursery available.

All transportation with Gloryland Express is provided as a free ministry outreach with our programs.  Donations for our chaplain's services are greatly appreciated and used to further the cause for Christ.
